It touched me so much that Kim Howard listened and talked to me about my feelings for Lisa; and that she had the kind and practical input --> "why don't you set some flowers to float in the water in memory of Lisa when you go to the club's Pride swim?" I would not have thought of it on my own, but I bought some peonies - I thought the bright globes would be beautiful in the teal of the bay; and I broke off some Salvia clevelandia for Lisa from next to the Dolphin club. I rejoiced in inhaling a smell that Lisa loved. She felt this was a protector plant for her.
I was delighted that Kris Berglund was standing next to me as we stepped into the water and I made an impromptu speech to Lisa telling her we loved her. Kris's arm around me felt so good and I sobbed a few liberating sobs as I deployed myself after the flowers. Rest in peace, dear one.
