Bringing a work project to a successful completion never fails to bring me the most powerful positive charge.
Film maker, Judy Irving, filmed a movie called "Cold Refuge" about people swimming through challenging situations in their lives and taking strength through exposure to the water and elements. I am one of the co-stars, and Judy kindly features my work in the film. She contacted me and commissioned a poster for the whole movie. It was a bit of a daunting endeavor, but she shared a photo of Kirk McKinney swimming and being trailed by a seal. It was just a tiny horizontal sliver in terms of composition and would in no way work for a vertical poster. When I shared this with my dad, he had the immediate solution of shifting the composition 90 degrees and having the two swimmers swim at the 'camera'. I completed the project much faster than I expected and everyone seemed to like it quite a bit. That certainly delighted me.
