Tiburon Pier Where We Jumped
The day was a bit blustery, not too cozy. We knew we were a ways off from the beach of interest. We stayed determined to swim. Having consulted the tide book - we talked ourselves into the fact that this was "perfectly timed". However when we walked out onto this pier and chatted with the crab fishermen there, I saw with some alarm that the ebb was pretty strong.
Note how the pier is built atop a pointy, sharp rock. Were there more of those lurking about?
