To the East of Yosemite lies a town called Lee Vining. It's on the shore of Mono Lake. It's home to the Mobil Station Restaurant. I can own up that I was hungry, and almost any food would have been quite satisfactory, but this was completely unexpected. They had a fantastic range of food from lobster taquitos to Ahi tuna salad to pork carnitas tacos, to cream of mushroom soup, and nice wines, cappucino, and coffee to wash it down. Amazing, delightful, and quite popular. Indoor and outdoor seating in a very tidy setting. Highly recommended!
