I'm interested in old machinery, but not explicitly rail stuff. This locomotive is pretty interesting in that there are 3 cylinders oriented vertically just ahead of the green cabin, and the power is transmitted along the horizontal shaft using "U" joints, slip joints with square drive keys, and bevel gears to turn all 16 wheels. This loco was designed specifically for tight mountainous rail lines.
