I am grateful for #dailydelights:

For a really great day with Al despite the horrible headache and backache he came down with.
He listened to his body and took an entire day off building the Dirtbag.

The day before he had mourned the fact that he probably won't finish it.

He took me to Cal Docks and stretched his back and got some air.
He spoke to a black woman here from Las Vegas to see her cousin who was shot unplugged from life support.

I am grateful for my short and raucous and slightly colder swim (the season is changing).
We had such a lovely dinner at Udupi Palace; I tried something new: a spicy potato dosa with fried onions... boy was it good.
We drove home in beautiful light.
And then we worked on a puzzle together -- first time in maybe 30 years either of us has done it.
Then I worked on his back. And put Chinese oil on it.
I could help with the pain without entering panic over the pain.
