My dad built this bed, or day bed 35 or more years ago.
It is very handsome (sorry it's photographed in protective plastic here).
It is a frame for a single Japanese tatami mat which is super comfy to sleep on. I need to check with him on the wood it was made out of - it is very pretty.
It's been in our family all this time, but we are struggling to find space for it in our households.
We are looking for a good home for it where it will be loved and used.
It measures 14" high, 32" across and 83" long.
